KHS is following the guidance of the Sedgwick County Stay at Home order will temporarily close to the public starting Wednesday, March 25. During the next week, we will evaluate how to continue offering important services to the community and focus on deep cleaning. The health and safety of our employees and animals is our top priority. This timeline is subject to change based on what guidance we receive from local public health officials. Click here for more info.

KHS Veterinary Medical Center

Located inside the Kansas Humane Society, our Veterinary Medical Center provides quality and compassionate medical services for the animals in our shelter seven days a week.

Our dedicated team of professionals daily perform basic veterinary care for our homeless pets. We also spay/neuter all adoptable animals and, through donor-subsidies, provide spay/neuter services to families in our community who could not afford these services otherwise. Click here to find out more about our donor-subsidized spay/neuter services.
