KHS is following the guidance of the Sedgwick County Stay at Home order will temporarily close to the public starting Wednesday, March 25. During the next week, we will evaluate how to continue offering important services to the community and focus on deep cleaning. The health and safety of our employees and animals is our top priority. This December, we're asking for your help to give a little hope to homeless pets during the holidays. We need donations of toys and treats for the animals in our care. Stockings are hung throughout our shelter, and we would love to see them filled with goodies throughout the month!

How you can help:

  1. Shop our Amazon Wishlist here: kshumane.org/stuffthestockings
  2. Choose an item from the KHS Store, or select your favorite pet supplies to donate. All proceeds from the KHS Store stay in our shelter to help us care for animals.
  3. Make an online donation here: kshumane.org/donate/give-now. Cash donations can also be made in the KHS Store.

Thank you for making the holidays brighter for pets in need!
