In mid December, a litter of nine puppies was surrendered to KHS at only four weeks old. The puppies' mom was no longer nursing them, and they were sick and extremely underweight. A dedicated foster and KHS employee stepped up to take home the entire litter!

After four weeks in foster care they tripled their weight and were in great health. After graduating from foster care, all nine puppies starred in the KSN Super Puppy Bowl and quickly found loving homes!

We need more fosters to help us save lives and make these amazing stories possible! The shelter cannot provide the care and comfort that sick, underweight and undersocialized animals need. Please consider opening your home to these animals! KHS provides all of the supplies needed to care for foster animals. This includes food, litter, and medical care. If available we can also supply crates, toys, bedding, play pens and enrichment to keep your foster engaged. Become a KHS foster: https://bit.ly/2NGLGcE

Don't miss the Super Puppy Bowl on KSN on February 3 at 9:30 am and 11 am. The Red Rovers will face the Grey Hounds in the cutest sporting event of the year. Need more information about our foster program?
