KHS is following the guidance of the Sedgwick County Stay at Home order will temporarily close to the public starting Wednesday, March 25. During the next week, we will evaluate how to continue offering important services to the community and focus on deep cleaning. The health and safety of our employees and animals is our top priority. KHS Giving Opportunities

  • CARS program – or toll free 1-877-658-PETS. Donate your car, truck, motorcycle, motor home or boat to KHS. We will pick up the vehicle right from your driveway. It does not need to be running to be donated.
  • Recycling program – Recycle your aluminum cans at our 20 convenient locations –

Adopting a barn cat can protect your equipment, hay and grain from rodents and save a cat life. Adult cats are free anytime.
  • Determine if your company has a volunteer donation program. Many companies will provide a donation of funds to KHS in exchange for volunteer hours worked.
