JOB DESCRIPTION: Cat Socializing Volunteer

GOAL: The goal of the Cat Socializing Volunteer is to ensure that the cats and kittens get exercise and personal attention daily.

SUPERVISOR: Shelter Manager and Volunteer Coordinator

TIME COMMITMENT: At least 2 hours once a week for a minimum of six months.

AVAILABLE TIMES: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 6:00pm; Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am to 11:00 am.

DUTIES: The Cat Socializing Volunteer will be taking cats and kittens out of their cages for play and exercise.

TRAINING: Completion of Volunteer Orientation. Completion of Animal Handling Training. Completion of Cat Socializing Training.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have good physical strength and agility. MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE, OR 12 YEARS OF AGE WITH PARENT
