Congratulations to the
2012 Top Fundraisers!

Bryant Core Knowledge Magnet Elementary School & North High School

Thank you! The hard work and dedication of the students and teachers to collect their pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters helped raise over $10,000!  We are grateful for your valuable contribution and compassionate commitment to the animals of the Kansas Humane Society.

Youth Helping Homeless Pets One Penny at a Time

Pennies for Paws is just around the corner and we can't wait to see how students and youth in the community participate in 2013. In an effort to better match classroom schedules the dates for Pennies for Paws 2013 are as follows:

January 1-31- Online Registration
Register by January 31, 2013 to receive a customized classroom packet prior to fundraising.

February 4-14 - Pennies for Paws Fundraiser.
IDEA! Suggested by a USD 259 teacher, "Round out your Pennies for Paws fundraising week with a Puppy Love Valentines Day classroom party!"
TIP! You can fundraise for Pennies for Paws anytime until February 14th!

Teaching students the importance of being humane, environmentally conscious citizens is a worthwhile and rewarding task. Recognizing the natural bond between children and pets, many area schools have added Pennies for Paws, an annual fundraising drive to benefit the Kansas Humane Society, to their yearly curriculum.

This is often the first experience for many children in volunteering or giving to charity. By collecting spare dimes, nickels and pennies, they learn that even the most humble of gestures will make a huge difference in their community.
