Spaying or neutering is a simple surgical procedure for pets to prevent unwanted litters and help pets live healthier lives.
The Kansas Humane Society spays/neuters all pets prior to adoption and offers services for qualifying members of the public.
Our Spay/Neuter Program is a donor-subsidized spay and neuter program for those needing financial assistance to spay or neuter their pets.
The Kansas Humane Society is fortunate to have financial support to help underwrite the costs of this program. Our goal is to spay/neuter 11,000 animals this year, thanks in part to a generous grant from the Petco Foundation. By offering these much needed services, we'll help save animal lives by preventing unwanted litters and work towards reducing Wichita’s pet overpopulation problem.
