Adopt a Pet!

To adopt an animal you must be 18 years of age or older (or accompanied by an adult), have a current picture ID, and be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care for you pet. Come to the KHS and see the animals in person. A map to the shelter can be found on our Location & Hours page.

A completed adoption application is required for all adopters. The application is available online at our Adoption Forms page. This will allow you to print out and complete the adoption form to bring to the shelter.
