Dave – accountant, guitar teacher, teaching assistant in college

Charles – Bag boy at Golf Course, financial consultant.

Dave - “The Dance” by Garth Brooks – so middle school dances would be filled with my song!

Charles – “Soul Provider” by Michael Bolton – I celebrate his whole catalog

Hillary- Midnight Train to Georgia, beautifully crafted and great melody!!!

 

What is your favorite childhood memory involving music?

Dave - Dad teaching me guitar growing up

Charles – Randy Travis – first concert I ever attended

Hillary- Being backstage at the Opry with my mom with the legends!!!

Dave – James Taylor, Dave Matthews, the Eagles

Charles – Sting, Joe Cocker, Keith Urban, Michael McDonald

Hillary- Trisha Yearwood, Gladys Knight, Bonnie Raitt

Dave- no

Charles – No I don’t, but I need one

Hillary- My purple ring- I never take it off!

 

The best vacation I ever took was . . . ?

Dave - Three months in London by myself!

Charles – Went skiing with my buddies back in college – Park City

Hillary- Hawaii!

Dave – Cheese dip (from Mexican-white kind)

Charles – Mexican

Describe what it feels like to perform live . . .

Dave – Very humbling- to see people react to music you put your heart into creating

Charles – It’s a high, I feel very in control and let myself go .

Hillary- A high!!

 

When did you first discover that you could craft a song?

Dave – made instrumental tapes for my mom in middle school

Charles – I think I wrote my first song at 12 with my brother Josh.  I played drums and sang at the same time back then.

Hillary- Around 6th grade- I loved writing stories and poems!

 

What instruments do you play?

Dave – Guitar (acoustic, electric), bass, piano, mandolin, drums, little banjo

Charles – Drums

Hillary- A little piano

 

What three words describe each of your fellow bandmates?

Dave- humble, kind, talented

Charles – Hillary is silly, hot, and loving.  Dave is organized and talented.

Hillary- Charles- Hilarious, loud, talented.  Dave- Organized, Hairy, Kind

 

What’s your definition of Country Music?

Dave- RASCAL FLATTS!

Charles – The voice of the common man and woman.

Hillary- Music that people can really relate to!!!
