Become a Member

The Kansas Humane Society is supported by nearly 4,000 members in the Wichita area. As a caring, concerned citizen, we need your help to protect animals in our community. For just a $25 annual membership donation, you can be a part of one of the most dynamic animal care agencies in the United States. If not for the financial support of our members, the Kansas Humane Society simply would not exist. We receive no government or United Way support, and we depend entirely on private contributions and special events.

Standard Annual Membership

$25 annual membership valid from January to December. With our standard annual membership, you will receive Companions, our quarterly full-color newsletter, and invitations to special events and programs. Join today!

Faithful Friends Monthly Membership

KHS monthly giving program for gifts of $10 or more through automatic bank draft from your checking or savings account. As a Faithful Friends member, you will receive Companions, our quarterly full-color newsletter, invitations to special events and programs and more. Plus, as a Faithful Friend, there is no need to renew your support each year. Join today!

FAQs about Your Membership and Mailings

I have already renewed my membership so why do I continue to receive renewal notices?
Our mailing list may not have updated between the date your renewal gift was received and the date of our next renewal mailing. If you have already renewed your membership, please disregard any additional notices that you may have received. Your information will be updated within 4-6 weeks.

Why am I receiving multiple mailings to me at the same address?
We may have more than one member record for you in our database. Please call (316) 524-1590 or e-mail us and we will fix this problem.

I prefer not to use my credit card. May I send a check or money order?
We will happily accept your payment in the form of check or money order. Please download the membership application and send with your payment (made out to KHS) to KHS Member Support, 4218 Southeast Blvd., Wichita, KS 67210.

How can I stop receiving your mailings?
If you’d like to be removed from our mailing list, please call (316) 524-1590 or e-mail us with your request. Please note that it may take 4-6 weeks for all mailings to cease.
