Choosing a Pet
Things to Consider
Why Have a Pet?
Owning a pet may be one of the biggest responsibilities you may ever have, and adequate preparation can make pet ownership a wonderful, rewarding experience. But a lack of preparation, or choosing a pet impulsively or unwisely, usually results in an unhappy situation for both the owner and the animal.
Pets require time, energy, space and money. Please, take your time in deciding, and do as much research as you possibly can before taking a new pet home. Shelter workers see animals given up every day...
